Miss US International 2009 Aileen Jan Yap
Miss International 2009, the 49th Miss International pageant, will be held in Chengdu, Sichuan, China on November 28, 2009 [1]. About 60 contestants are expected to attend the pageant. Alejandra Andreu of Spain will crown her successor at the end of the event.

Texas, The Filipino-American daughter of a couple from Cagayan de Oro and Misamis Oriental was crowned Miss United States International 2009 during the pageant held July 7-10, 2009 at the Stafford Conference Centre in Houston, Texas.
Aileen Jan “A.J.” Valdehueza-Yap, 20, who representing the state of Texas won the prestigious title Miss U.S. International 2009 will represent the US in the 49th Miss International pageant to be held at the Venetian Macao Resort in Macau, China on November 7, 2009.

uly 16 – Aileen Jan Valdehueza-Yap (C), 20, Miss Texas, won the title Miss US International 2009 and will represent the United States in the 49th Miss International pageant to be held at the Venetian Macao Resort in Macau, China on November 7, 2009.
Aileen Jan, somtimes called as AJ, is a Filipino-American daughter from Cagayan de Oro and Misamis Oriental (Philippines) was crowned Miss US (United States) International 2009 during the beauty pageant / contest held on July 10 at the Stafford Conference Centre in Houston, Texas.
The preliminary competitions for the swimsuits and evening gown competition were held July 8 at the Hilton Hotel Ballroom in Houston. A.J. won both the “Best in Swimsuit” and “Best in Evening Gown” awards.
Filipino American Aileen Jan Yap was crowned Miss United States International 2009 over the weekend and will represent the US in the 49th Miss International pageant to be held at the Venetian Macao Resort in Macau, China on November 7, according to americanchronicle.com.
The same website said Yap, 20, who is Miss Texas, also won both the “Best in Swimsuit” and “Best in Evening Gown” awards.
She is a junior at the University of St. Thomas in Houston, Texas major in Biology. She graduated as the Most Outstanding Student at the Sacred Heart School in Conroe, Texas and went on to graduate summa cum laude at Willis High School.
