In ULAANBAATAR, Sep. 17 - O. Khulangoo, born in 1988, became the winner of the Miss Mongolia-2008 beauty pageant that was held in Ulaanbaatar on September 17.

She, 20 year old, will represent Mongolia at the Miss International 2008 Beauty Pageant to be held in Macau, on November 8th.

The runner-ups included E. Selenge, P. Shuudertsetseg, G. Bolortsetseg and N. Chimedlkha, and they have been awarded with invitations to take part in international contests such as "Miss intercontinental", "Miss global city", "Miss Tourism", and "Top model of the world".

About 150 beautiful ladies from all corner of Mongolia took part in this beauty contest. A total of 21 ladies competed in the final round.


Miss Mongolia is the beauty contest held in Mongolia to select Mongolia's representatives for Miss World, and Miss Tourism Queen International. The first Miss Mongolia competition took place in 2005. Miss Mongolia pageant's official organizer is Desoft Media company.
Each year, approximately twenty women compete in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia and seven are selected by a panel of judges. The 1st place winner is crowned the official Miss Mongolia and competes in Miss World. Additionally, there are two finalists (1st and 2nd runner ups respectively), one which goes to Miss Tourism Queen International and the other to Miss Intercontinental. Lastly, one finalist is chosen to participate in Miss World

Miss Mongolia 2009 to be held on September in Ulaanbaatar

“Miss Mongolia-2009” beauty contest will be held at Ulaanbaatar on September 7. “Shilmel Zagvar” fashion modeling agency and Miss Mongolia Association will organize the seventh annual contest.
The first three winners of the contest will compete for Miss World, Miss Universe and Miss Asia title.
